The key to launching a venture is simple: you have to give yourself permission to do it. There are some people who will tell you that you can’t do it – that you’re not old enough or experienced enough, or you have other priorities. Don’t let it stop you. They’ve got their reasons – maybe they are telling you this because they didn’t give themselves permission to lead at a young age, and either they regret it or they still don’t see the potential they had – but their reasons don’t have to be your reasons.
