Venturers come from all different walks of life in many different regions around the world. There is no one type of Venturer, but rather what all Venturers have in common is their desire and motivation to create positive change.
Criteria for becoming a Youth Venture Team
• You and your venture’s leadership team are ages 12-20
• Your venture benefits the community
• Your venture is youth-created and youth-led
• Your venture is a new organization or a major new program of an existing organization
• Your venture is ongoing and sustainable (not a one-time project)
• Your venture has clear, attainable goals and a realistic budget
• You are a part of a team that is trustworthy and committed to ethical standards
Whether your focus is poverty, health, the elderly, the environment, education, diversity issues, the arts, an international issue, or any other social issue, we believe in your ability to address it, and we are here to support you! Around the world, young people like you are taking initiative and using their passions to creatively solve the problems they see in the world. Youth Venture believes in and will support you by providing coaching, useful resources, and seed grants to help you launch your social venture.
You need to dream it. We’ll help you do it. And once you’ve done it, we’ll also help you build and grow your venture for social change.
