Updates from YV Digital and the GenVIPs!! :-)

Hello GenV.net Users!!

We just wanted to update you on a few projects we are working on on this site... :-)

1) SMS Campaign for USA users -- If you haven't already opted-in to receive messages, there's still time! HELP SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT YOUTH VENTURE! Opt-in NOW and you'll be entered for a chance to win a YV prize pack! Simply text GENV to 30364 or type in your mobile phone number below (USA numbers only) to receive text messages from YV. Winners will be notified by cell phone text message. :-)

2) Interest groups -- The GenVIPs, a group of GenV.net experts here to help answer questions about the site and offer advice about the Youth Venture process, have created several team profiles where YOU can congregate to bounce ideas off of each other, network, and contribute tips/ideas. These groups will help you network with members who share your interests! Here are a list of topics we've created so far:

Join these groups TODAY! Simply go to the group profile and click "subscribe" in your left navigation bar. If there are topics you feel we need to add, let us know! :-)

3) Youth Citizen-Sector Periodical Database -- Jestre's venture, Our World Our Change, is launching a project called the Youth Citizen-Sector Periodical Database. The goal of this project is to compile a list of all the magazines, newspapers, e-mails, and newsletters that venture teams create, and market them to schools, companies and communities nationwide. This is a great opportunity to not only get your periodicals out there, but to make money, as the venture will be selling the periodicals for you! If you're interested, please send Jestre a private message with the following information:

  1. Name(s) of member(s)
  2. Name of venture/team
  3. Name of periodical
  4. Type of periodical
  5. Frequency of periodical
  6. Current cost for periodical
  7. Any additional questions or comment you may have!
