It really depends are what type of issues you are insterested and passionate about. Some of the common social problems are poverty, human rights/animal rights, education, and health. There's so much more! Let us know what you are insterested in and we'll give you some ideas or we can brainstorm together :)

Hi - it sounds like you have great ideas! Is there anything you like to do, reading or playing sports? If you do one of those activities with children or youth, that could end up being a Venture Team.

Becoming a "501(c)3" means that your Venture is recognized as an official nonprofit by the IRS and all donations to your Venture are tax-exempt, which means people are more likely to give money and you can apply for funding from foundations. The process is very time consuming, and I wouldn't worry about this too much until after your Venture is up and running (unless you decide that you want to be able to pursue foundations as part of your sustainability strategy).
