Help!
Hello, my name is Brianna and I've only recently found out that organizations such as YV exist. I've always wanted to make a difference in our society, and I feel that my stumbling upon this website was a sign that I need to stop dreaming and start doing something! Unfortunately, I am having difficulties thinking of something! My main idea is maybe launching some benefit concerts with a few local bands I know, with hopes of gaining money to give to organizations based around animal and/or human rights. However, I don't know of any such organizations and I was thinking of creating my own. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well i'm doing the same thing and i have started my own organization. i started in my school. I'm in middle school and am trying to save the enviroment. To start off the concert thing sounds like a great idea! people love music and concerts are a great way to get publicityfor your project.
If you are into human and animal rights get each band before their set to make a small speach about it. let them right it but make sure you approve it. If you can sell shirts and stuff with little sayings like "animals aren't meantto wear make-up! Let's keep it that way" or something like that and make sure you put your orginazations nameon it where people will see it. they will sell great and then you also get your nameout there when people where it out.
Little things like that will make everything a big hit andmake sure you inform local news channels about it they might want to cover it and then that's major publicity. I hope that helped. Great - both of you! I know that if you click on Browse Teams, you can find a lot of other venturers who are interested in the same things you guys are. Some organizations you could consider donating money to is PETA, Humane Society, the American Red Cross, UNICEF or call your local volunteer organization and ask them for more ideas. Let me know if you'd like to talk it over!

Thank you! ya i'm trying to get mine off the ground and i think i have some pretty cool ideas likebattle of the bands and guitar hero competitions and stuff to raise money for solar panels and wind turbines. I think i have pretty good ideas and i would love to help anyone who needs it coming up with ideas. But i would also love to have help with coming up with ideas for my program so if you guys have any suggestions feel free to give me ideas and thanks for the suggestions with the organizations and stuff ~gogreengirl2 xD

You can help us come up with ideas anytime! :) Have you talked to greenteensjessie yet? She's been doing some pretty great fundraisers and events for her venture. Battle of the Bands sounds like a great idea. Maybe you could also think about selling t-shirts made out of organic cotton or something like that. Just a thought. Feel free to message me.
