Tobacco is a drug too!
Many people don’t think about tobacco as a drug. The truth is Tobacco is an addictive substance that has damaging effects on your health.Tobacco is a drug! 8.1% of middle school students smoke and 22.3% high school students smoke.25.7% of college students smoke while 43.9% college age individuals who do not attend college smoke. Cigarettes kill 50 people per hour. There are 4.8 million deaths from smoking each year. 5,000,000 people around the world died from tobacco products last year! Are tobacco products a problem in your community? What can we do to address this issue?
