Dragons' Den

I’ve been looking back over my blogs this week and realised I have never discussed the UK TV programme “Dragons’ Den.” The sixth series has just started on BBC 2 and for those unfamiliar with the concept the programme sees up and coming entrepreneurs and inventors pitching their ideas to a panel of rich investors in the hope of getting one or more of them to invest in to their idea.

This week I wanted to use the blog to talk about successful people and the things I think are stopping successful people being as successful as they could be.

My dreams in relation to my past

Often writers write from experiences and from what they have lived or seen. I write from my experiences. The people who have heard my music know that some of the stuff is deep and recently its been having a bit of a rock vibe. I am still a hip-hop girl. Although my experiences have been crazy they have made me who I am. Just like musicians out there, especially the ones that I wish to target. They talk about life as they see it and as it is. They use their knowledge of the past to prevent future mistakes.

Worm Poop = Money

How about this for a cool Venture:

Princeton Undergraduate Student + Worm Poop = Terracycle = Money.

Tom Szaky dropped out of Princeton to start Terracycle, a company that sells worm poop. It all started by using waste from the university's dining halls, which they developed into liquid fertilizer. The genius of the operation is all the waste is free and you have to worms doing the work.
