Youth Venture, along with its partners Hill & Knowlton, Staples, and Starbucks, presents Road Trip America, the last leg of Youth Venture’s Dream It. Do It. World Tour. Kyle Taylor and GenV.net’s very own Malena will kick off the road trip on Feb. 10th. They will embark on a 40-day road trip covering 7,373 miles through 32 US states and 3 Canadian Provinces, with stops in San Francisco, Seattle, St. Paul, Dallas, Montreal and more, documenting all of YOUR contributions to YOUR community each stop of the way before they arrive in Youth Venture’s headquarters.
So what does YV Digital want from you?? VIDEOS!!!! Kyle and Malena cannot go to every city in North America, so why don’t you tell them what they’d be missing if they skipped your town! Tell them and the world why everyone should stop by your town! Is it because your team just built the coolest community garden for the homeless in your area? Is it because of the little steak house around the corner that serves the juiciest slab of beef known to man? Whatever it is, capture it in a short 2-3 minute video and submit it by March 19th for your chance to win an 8GB iPod Touch! (one-time only!!!)
Here is how you do it:
- Grab your camcorder. If you don’t have one, borrow one!
- Videotape your message to the world about your venture team and your town (2-3 minutes only).
- Upload it to YouTube.com. It’s very easy to create one if you don’t already have one.
- Upload it to the video section on your GenV.net member profile.
- Send the link to your video on GenV.net to YV_Jen in a private message by March 19th.
- Voting begins March 19th and ends March 31st.
So mark your calendars! This is NOT your ordinary GenV.net contest. This video challenge is a SPECIAL TWO MONTH contest! All video entries must be received by March 19th!
GOOD LUCK!!!
