Bio

Hi! I'm Sally and I'm Youth Venture's Teen Second Life Manager. I work with our partner organization, Global Kids, to run the Dream It. Do It. Initiative in Teen Second Life (you can learn about it at: http://genv.net/en-us/region/didi). Prior to working on this initiative, I spent a year working as an AmeriCorps VISTA Program Associate in Youth Venture's New York regional office.

Before joining Youth Venture, I spend eight months volunteering in Uganda volunteering with a local NGO. After returning to the US, I founded Hope for Ugandan Students (HUGS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises support for grassroots youth empowerment and community development initiatives in Uganda.

Hi Sally!
Well it was mentioned in my presentation =p -just pulling your leg. That's cool that you know of SAGE... in interest of marketing and development, how did you hear about SAGE? Does your VISTA job allow some mentoring time? I believe we have a couple New York teams you may want to mentor if that's your thing.
