Bio

Suria grew up in New York and decided to move to New Hampshire to work with Youth Venture after college. She had a great time in college being involved with social justice groups, and decided that Youth Venture was a great way to be involved in the community and let others know that real change is possible.

Suria loves cats, reading a good mystery book, and playing outdoor sports. Her passions include international politics and Peace and Conflict Studies. She is very excited to be working for Youth Venture, helping the organization to grow, and launching new Ventures.

am starting work on a documentary that would detail the evolution of ghanaian music veryy soon. jux thought it'd be nice telling y'all abt it... u're welcome to make any suggestions... jus lemme know abt it asap... my next project though is a tour of as many high schools in ghana as i can.. i know it's gonna be both fun and hardwork... when am done, i'll sure tell u more abt it... safe for now...

hey suria! Thanks for the welcome and for referring me to John. It sounds like some really exciting things are happening at YV New England. Maybe I can meet you in person when I'm driving up to Colby - we're leaving the week of August 26, 2008 - will the office be open then? oh - and given your bio I thought you might be interested in hearing that I'm going to double major in English and International Relations. :)
