Bio

Originally from Boston’s North Shore, Rachel Andler is the new United Way Youth Venture Partner Specialist housed under Mount Wachusett Community College’s Center for Democracy and Humanity. Rachel just graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a BA in English and a concentration in writing. She has lived in New Orleans, Louisiana for the past four years and has a rich background in social entrepreneurship. She has been involved with everything from The Heifer Project and Aids Quilt / Awareness to gutting and rebuilding houses post Hurricane Katrina. Rachel is happiest when she can roll up her sleeves, channel her creativity and really make a difference.

Hi Rachel,
Thanks for getting back to me! the magazine is geared towards kids aged 10-15 years old and mainly focus is on comics/graphic novellas as well as other art. The point is that comics are enjoyed by kids from all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. I can send you the order forms (we charge $3.50 just to cover the costs of printing) Thanks again!

Jen told me that you might be able to help us distribute in Massachusetts - do you know of any places and or youth who would be interested in a publication like this?
