About Us

Mid-Atlantic area is comprised of the following states: Maryland, Virginia, DC, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia

The Mid-Atlantic team focuses on fellowship, local and regional partnerships, and youth recruitment, support, and outreach. We believe in the concept that everyone is a changemaker and the YV movement is here to prove just that...EVERYONE can make change regardless of any negative forces in society saying otherwise! Youth Venture is a catalyst for change and an avenue for empowering youth to ACT now!

Our goals within the coming months are to strengthen Fellowship, provide more incentives for youth to have sustainable ventures, and equip youth to have a positive impact on their community!

National Youth Venture Summit @ American University

The first-ever national Youth Venture Summit will be an exciting and enlightening leadership experience, gathering young changemakers from throughout the nation for three days of skill-building, peer exchange, and fun!
The Summit will bring together at least 150 current and former Youth Venturers and young leaders interested in launching a Venture, as well as the adult allies and professionals who support young changemakers from throughout the US. Attendees will participate in skill-building and Venture-strengthening workshops, engage in meaningful dialogue to share experiences and perspectives, network with each other, and find ways to collaborate.

DC Initiative: 2007-2008

To build a DC area community of changemakers, Youth Venture is launching the “Greater DC Venture Initiative”, a new metropolitan area campaign for all locally-based Youth Venture participants.

We have currently launched 21 teams from the Mid-Atlantic office this year!
